Electric drives are replacing winders, levers and adjustment wheels, providing the occupants with additional comfort and increased safety. Our range of drives for power windows fulfils all current market requirements. The drives are characterized by gearings with a high degree of resistance, which prevents the window from being opened by force. Their design principle makes them suitable for use with cable or scissors-type lifting systems.
Our new generation of window lift drives meets the highest standards regarding:
- Installation space
- Weight
- Noise
- Performance range
- Integration possibilities
- Safety
- Robustness
Our sturdy FPC3 drive is supplied as standard version with 2-pin plugs. It is ideally suited to light and medium performance requirements and features particularly light, space-saving construction. The standard version of this drive, for instance, weighs only 430 grams.
Besides our proven standard window lift drives we also offer the FPG2, an extremely flexible drive for the medium to high torque range. Various components can be inserted in the plug-in interface of the gear ousing to meet individual requirements.
A standard basic version thus makes it possible to create several alternatives easily, quickly and cost-effectively:
- With 2-pin connector: for sensorless position recognition for antipinch functionality or for systems without this safety function
- With Hall sensor: with position recognition providing the signal for the anti-pinch functionality in the door control unit or body computer
- With plug-in electronics: for functions such as position recognition, anti-pinch functionality and comfort closing
The electronic unit evaluates the signals from the Hall sensor or the electric current (Sensorless Control). If the force exceeds a permissible level, the motors direction of rotation is reversed.
The use of electronics thus permits such useful functions as:
- Automatic operation (opening, closing)
- Comfort closure
- Anti-pinch functionality, which prevents persons or objects from being trapped during automatic closure
Undoubtedly, the trend towards a sliding sunroof as a desirable comfort feature for passenger cars is increasing. Our modern electrical sunroof drives and intelligent operating concepts enhance comfort and allow the driver to concentrate fully on traffic conditions. With solutions from Bosch, driving becomes not only more comfortable but safer, too.
Our AHC-R sliding-sunroof drive has been specially developed for sunroofs with low power requirements. Its universal drive component is only 30 millimeters high and weighs only 500 grams, which makes it the ideal solution wherever light, space-saving electronic comfort drives are called for.
The NSA-R is ideally suitable for applications with high torque requirements of up to 12 Nm and is thus among the most powerful roof drive units on the market. It is available as a two-pin or as a sensor version. Its optimized magnetic circuit with high-energy magnets enables this drive to be designed as a compact, light unit.
